Betwixt is an imaginary world. Its residents are all nationalities, races, religions, genders, and orientations. Everyone is represented, and everyone has a place.
There are no villains. Just characters doing what they were put there to do. You’ll meet Love, Fear, Vanity, Harmony, Gossip, and many more. New residents move in on the first and fifteenth of every month. But since Time can’t read a calendar, don’t hold your breath.
Visit the hoods. Check out the residents. Send a letter to the creator if you like.
Technology will be sending out field notes soon - once someone figures out how to string the tin cans together. Wire colors are hard!
And don’t forget to check out the General Store to get your own little piece of Betwixt. Hope and Fate stayed up all night sewing the t-shirts.
This is a fun place with no agenda. Just interesting characters who want to prove that lucidity is more than a state of mind. It’s a way of life.
A short note from the neighborhood, now and then — who just moved in, whose porch light's on, what the kids are up to.
We promise to write only once a month to start — if Hope can only teach Time to read a calendar. He keeps skipping away to jump in the creek with Pride. She’s starting to lose Patience.
Ingenuity and the folks at M.I.S.C. Labs converted an old dashboard into a radio station receiver. Now, all of Betwixt can listen to music, news, and broadcasts from regions far and wide. Listen to the previews below or check out the full radio experience!
Gossip
MISC Labs is a not-so-secret club in Betwixt. Their mission: Recycle and repurpose world items to make life and communication better for all residents.
TetherComm is their newest invention. It’s Betwixt’s first communication device. It’s in the development stages, so it can only make outgoing calls. Any resident with a receiving tin can and some string may answer when you call.
Unfortunately, it’s only a one-way call, and the reception is spotty at best.
Give it a shot and click CONNECT. See who you connect with. You may intercept a radio broadcast or even get a real resident on the line.
Check back soon. Science and Ingenuity have lots of ideas to improve the functionality.
Want a mug that reminds you to chill? Harmony has you covered. Need permission to spread the latest news? Gossip's got you. New dog bowl for your beloved pooch? Trust has something just for you.
So, head on over to the Betwixt General Store. Ignore the Etsy sign. We're still working on a better name.
